CASD™ assessment
Three components, a public marking scheme
The CASD™ certifying assessment is administered by the SGCB against the public exam blueprint, under the same conditions for all candidates — whether or not they followed a preparatory course.

Component A — Certifying project
An application or agent built against the public specification brief: code repository, technical report and video demonstration, assessed independently by two board examiners on the public rubric.

Component B — Oral defence
Live demonstration before the jury, in-depth technical questions and verification of the authorship of the work presented.

Component C — 30-question MCQ
A knowledge questionnaire covering the six weighted domains of the framework, time-limited and proctored.
Pass thresholds. Certification is granted from an overall score of at least 700 points out of 1000, with a minimum of 500 out of 1000 on each of the three components. No grade from any training course enters the calculation.
Governance & integrity
Credentials that hold their value because they are governed
The value of a certification rests on the rigour of the body that awards it. The board publishes its charters, policies and frameworks, and holds its practices to verifiable rules.

Independence from training
The SGCB rules in full independence from the Sopheria Global Academy and from any training provider. No trainer takes part in the assessment of their own candidates; no training grade is passed to the board.

Certificants' code of ethics
Every certified professional subscribes to a public code of ethics: professional honesty, responsible use of AI, confidentiality and a duty to report. Breaching it may lead to suspension or withdrawal of the credential.

Three-year recertification
Certifications are valid for three years and maintained through a continuing-education program defined in the board's public recertification policy.
IV.
Intended alignment with ISO/IEC 17024
Certification processes are designed in alignment with the requirements of ISO/IEC 17024, the standard for bodies certifying persons. This alignment is a quality roadmap, not an accreditation that has been obtained.
Transparency. The SGCB claims no external accreditation (ISO/IEC 17024, ANAB or other) until it has been formally obtained. Its charter, examination policy and recertification policy are published in full.

The board brings together independent profiles covering psychometrics, examination administration, ethics and industry needs. Its members are appointed for a three-year term and subject to the conflict-of-interest disclosure regime.
